iS "Caprican" Ultimate House
The Caprican is broadly inspired by the house used as Gaius Baltar's
residence in the television mini-series Battlestar Galactica (2003).

With a 55x30 metre footprint, the Caprican is best suited to land parcels of 4096 sq metres or greater, and offers single-storey accommodation, with front patio areas and steps leading to the rear aspect.

The Caprican is available in two versions: the Caprican and the Caprican Ultimate.

The Ultimate features a 25x15 metre main living area and a 15x15 bedroom linked by a 15x12 metre kitchen area.

Living Area

The main living area has double doors to the front aspect, opening off of a railed balcony. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide views to the front, side and rear aspects. The windows are tintable (outside surfaces) for privacy, or optional curtains can be used.

The main features of the living area is a sunken seating area built around the fireplace. This comes complete with bookcases, a rug, coffee table and 3 sofas.

The sofas feature animations from Craig Altman's Bits'n'Bobs team, and have selectable fabric texture finishes and colourable cushion.

Bedroom

The bedroom also has double doors to the front aspect, opeening off of a railed balcony. Floor-ro-ceiling windows provide views to the front, side and rear aspects, which an internal wall helps sub-divide the bedroom for a warmer feel.

The Caprican Ultimate includes bedroom furniture comprising:

1 x double bed with menu-driven MLP and 27 animation and menu-selectable bedspread texture finishes

1 x dressing table complete with Craig Altman animation

1 x (non-function) closet.

These furnishing are contained in an optional pack.


Kitchen

The kitchen has double doors to the front and rear aspects. The front doors open off of a balcony with steps leading down to a stone paved patio area, enclosed on either side by the bedroom and living area. The rear doors fromt the kitchen area provide access to steps leading to ground level.

The kitchen itself is galley-style with units against the rear wall of the house, and a separate island with sink fronting them. This island also includes a breakfast bar. Two breaskfast bar chairs (Transfer only) are included. The kitchen area is sufficiently large for additional furnishing to be included - or if the area is to be used for other purposes, the kitchen units can be safely removed post-rezzing.

Other Features
In addition, the Caprican includes the following features:

i-Squared Lighting

The lounge and bedroom both feature stylish 2-prim wall lights, while the kitchen area has a single overhead light. If the kitchen area is to be used for other purposes, an additional 3 wall lights are included in the pack, which can be used in place of the ceiling light.

Additionally, the living area has 5 ceiling-reccessed spotlights to provide an alternative lighting style to the wall lights.

i-Squared Window Tinting

The Caprican features the i-Squared window tinting system. By day, vertical blinds offer a degree of privacy. At night they "close" completely, and indirect lighting gives an added air of realism to the outside of the the house. Windows can be tinted by simply touching any window and selecting "on" (blinded "closed") or "off" (blinds "open") - note that the bedroom windows operate independently from the rest of the house.

Doors
The doors used on the Caprican are all NDE scripted and can be locked, or can be set to owner or Group-only use, or can have a list of authorised users added to them.

Additional Furnishings

To complete your home, the Caprican Ultimate includes the following furnishings:

2 x additional armchairs
2 x table lamps
1 x floor lamp
2 x kitchen / patio chairs
1 x round table
4 x additional lights which can be used to replace the overhead light in the kitchen (remove after rezzing).

Other than the wall lights (which are keyed to the Kitchen House Control Panel), all the above are supplied NO COPY.
